Manai Well
A Well From Which It is Believed Emperor Jimmu Drew Water

Halfway Mt. Kamiura is a well called the Manai Well. It is said that Emperor Jimmu drew water from that well to offer to the heavenly gods.
Beside it stands a stone monument on which is inscribed a poem composed by Empress Dowager Eisho.

Mt. Kamiura
As with the Manai Well, there are legends involving Emperor Jimmu and Mt. Kamiura nearby. Its summit forms a lookout from which the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea can be enjoyed.
