At the arcades and on the streets you will encounter the Seven Gods of Fortune which will give you peace of mind.
Each shopping area displays a different one of the Seven Gods of Fortune. Hondori displays “Hoteison,”the Fat and Happy God of Abundance and Good Health. For Kabuni Street, it is “Benzaiten,”the God of Knowledge, Art, and Beauty. On Ebisu Street, it is “Ebisu,” the God of Fishermen and Merchants. “Bishamonten,” the God of Warriors is shown on Daisen Street... and the list goes on. When you walk through a shopping area, try to look out to see which god is there to bless you.
