Kasaoka Air Station (Farm Road Airport)

The Kasaoka Air Station is located on the southern tip of the reclaimed land on Kasaoka Bay. Officially it is called Kasaoka District Farm Road Airport. It was built to transport agricultural products grown nearby to the Okayama and Osaka Airports. Today it is used for a multiple purposes, including as a venue for model airplane competitions and as a training facility for sky sports. In addition, from May to October it accommodates sightseeing flights using Cessna airplanes (once a month).
