Kodai-no-Oka Sports Park
A Park Created with the Themes of Abundant Nature and Ancient Rome

Located in the northern part of Kasaoka City, this is a park designed with the themes of abundant nature and ancient Rome. The “Kodai-no-Oka" in its name actually means “Ancient Hill.” In addition to playing grounds for soccer and Ground Golf, a baseball diamond, and other sports facilities, it also has a plaza for social exchange which has a fountain, a playground for children with lots of equipment, and camp grounds for 13 camping sites. All of this enables it to be used for both athletics and recreation. In addition, it is connected by a suspension bridge to a group of ancient burial mounds behind the nearby Chofuku Temple. Visitors enjoy strolling around the area with visions of stories of ancient people.
