Manabe-shima Hometown Village Archives

The second floor of the waiting area at the arrival dock at Manabe-shima Port has been made available as a museum and achieves free of charge. On display are tools, implements used in the local fishing and agricultural industries, household utensils, armor, official bulletin boards of the governing Grand Council of State of that era and many other exhibits which speak of the island’s history, conjuring up recollections of the island it was long ago.
