The stone materials produced here from high-quality granite were used in the construction of the stone walls of Osaka Castle and the “Torii Gate” at the Yasukuni Shrine. The Kitagi Stone Memorial Room is a room in the Kitagi Junior High School which displays masonry tools and explanation panels, and other exhibits.
